After filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Mohit Suri, who made a movie on the life of yesteryears actress, Parveen Babi, director Vivek Agnihotri’s next, Freedom will also contain a character based on the actress.
The movie has a character played by Payal Ghosh, which will be loosely based on the Parveen Babi’s life. A source confirms, "In the film, Payal's track bears an uncanny resemblance to Parveen's reportedly turbulent relationship with Kabir Bedi. Parveen had a successful film career, but her personal life was tragic. Her insecurities and depression have been captured in the segment. Also, one of the segments will be based on Sanjay Dutt."
