There were rumors suggesting that filmmaker Onir is planning on helming a sequel to Anurag Basu’s Life In A… Metro.
However the speculations were recently rubbished by the director himself. "I don't know from where these stories have come up that I will be directing Life In A Metro 2. The fact is I am not!," says Onir. Director Anurag Basu too had recently confirmed that Onir will be the right choice to direct his film’s sequel and that he will be doing. Speaking of this, Onir said, "I had met Anuarg in Goa at the film festival where we had discussed the possibility of my directing the sequel. In fact Anurag also said that since the sequel will also be a relationship based story like the prequel, I would be an ideal choice for it, since relationship films has been my forte. But that's it.
