GRETCHEN ROSSI AND SLADE SMILEY ENGAGED

After four years of dating, Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley are finally engaged to each other.

And to everyone’s surprise Gretchen is the one who popped the question. On April 14, Gretchen proposed Slade in a romantic proposal in Los Angeles and the scene will be aired on an upcoming episode of RHOC. Before, Gretchen had said that she doesn’t mind being the one to propose. “A guy doesn’t always have to do it,” Gretchen had said. “They’re really happy about getting married,” a source said. “Gretchen always does everything out of the box, so no one is too surprised she was the one who proposed. She really wants kids with Slade, so that was a big motivator.”

In a previous interview, Gretchen said about her husband-to-be, “Spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically, [Slade and I] connect on every level. He supports me, loves me and is so unselfish. I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
